What is SoMira?
SoMira is a portable reputation platform that helps individuals request public reviews and private feedback from real-world interactions. Public reviews help show how people experience working with you, while private feedback can help you improve without making everything public.
Who should use SoMira?
SoMira is for people whose reputation affects opportunity, trust, referrals, hiring, sales, service, or collaboration. Examples include realtors, salespeople, service professionals, freelancers, consultants, job seekers, team members, and local business owners.
How is SoMira different from Google reviews, Yelp, or LinkedIn recommendations?
Most review platforms are tied to a company, location, or specific platform. SoMira is built around the individual first. Your reputation should be able to move with you across jobs, companies, teams, clients, and opportunities.
What counts as a real interaction?
A real interaction means the reviewer actually interacted with the person they are reviewing. That may include working together, receiving service, communicating about a project, attending a meeting, completing a transaction, or another meaningful real-world exchange.
Are reviews verified?
At this stage, SoMira is built around review requests from real-world interactions. Public reviews require an account, and reviews can be reported or disputed if they appear fake, abusive, misleading, or against the rules. SoMira should not claim every interaction is independently verified unless that verification process is built.
What is private feedback?
Private feedback is owner-only insight sent to help someone grow. It does not appear publicly and should not affect the public reputation snapshot.
Does paying improve my reputation?
No. Paid tools should never improve, hide, or manipulate a person's reputation snapshot. Optional tools may add features such as profile management, analytics, exports, or business and team tools, but the integrity of feedback must remain separate from payment.
Why would I invite someone to review me here?
Because your reputation should not disappear when you change companies, teams, platforms, or roles. SoMira gives you a portable place to collect proof of how people experience working with you.
Can someone review me without my permission?
SoMira is designed around self-created profiles and requested feedback. People should not be able to create a public profile for someone else. Reviews are submitted through review request links or reusable QR feedback links created from a profile owner's account, and public reviews require a signed-in SoMira account.
Can I remove a bad review?
Profile owners cannot quietly remove a review just because it is negative. Reviews may be reported or disputed, and moderation may hide or remove content that violates SoMira rules.
What happens if someone lies?
A review can be reported or disputed. SoMira may review the content, context, account signals, and relevant metadata, then flag, hide, remove, restore, or leave the review unchanged. A report or dispute does not automatically prove a review is invalid.
