Moderation
Moderation Policy.
Reports and disputes create cases so review visibility decisions are handled through a clear process.
Reports
Anyone with access to a visible public review may report it for abuse, spam, harassment, irrelevant content, or other guideline violations.
A report does not automatically prove the review is invalid.
Disputes
Profile owners may dispute reviews when they believe the review is false, abusive, not based on a real interaction, or otherwise violates SoMira rules.
A dispute creates a moderation case. It should not be used to hide valid negative feedback.
Review visibility
Reviews may remain visible, be flagged, enter moderation, be hidden, or be removed depending on the case. Disputed reviews should not create a false positive profile or hide legitimate criticism by default.
Admin decisions
Admins may review profile context, review content, report details, dispute details, and relevant metadata. Admin actions should be logged for accountability.
Possible decisions include no action, flag, hide, remove, restore, or mark a case resolved.
Retention
Moderation history may be retained to prevent repeat abuse, support trust and safety, and document decisions. Retention timelines may evolve as legal, safety, and platform requirements change.
